02 Mar Target the Heart Breakfast at the 2020 ATA Trade Show
The Archery Trade Association (ATA) Trade Show is the archery industry’s largest annual event. This bowhunting trade show brings over 8,000 archery manufacturers and retailers together each January to introduce new products and order inventory for the coming season. In 2020, the ATA Trade Show was held at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.
For the past eight years, a Christian organization headed by Howard and Julie Tripp have hosted a Target the Heart Breakfast at the trade show to reach attendees with the transforming message of Jesus Christ. According to Julie Tripp, they are always looking for ways to keep their event fresh and to find new ways to encourage non-believers to attend. This year, Trophies of Grace was asked to bring its trophy display to the annual outreach event.
Since whitetail deer are the number-one target of US archery hunters, you might guess that this trophy display would have been a popular addition to the breakfast – and you’d be correct. The trophy mounts added visual appeal to the event. But much more importantly, they drew new people to the breakfast where they heard the gospel message. In fact, we’re proud to report that Trophies of Grace will be displaying at the Target the Heart Breakfast again next year.
We’d like to extend a big thanks to Howard, Julie and all those who work hard to make the Target the Heart Breakfast a reality each year at the ATA Trade Show.
